JUNIOR NEWS AND INFORMATION

SUMMER PRACTICE NIGHT

Friday night training starts at the club on 23 April.

Under 9 (up to year 4) and Under 11 (years 5 and 6) from 5.30 pm to 7 pm

Under 13 and Under 15 plus all girls (years 3 to 10) from 7 pm to 8.30 pm

Will all players please register with the admin ladies in the pavilion EACH SESSION BEFORE joining your group and coach.

Due to the huge numbers of Under 9 players we have decided to split the group between U9s (years 3 and 4) AND Under 7s (years 1 and 2). John will continue with the U9s and Richard and Steve will run the U7s group. This will take place from Friday 14 May.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR UNDER 15`s

I would like to offer my congratulations to our U15`s team on winning the Cheshire County Shield for 2010.

With an unbeaten record the team stand 10 points clear of their nearest rivals and, with only one match left, cannot be overtaken.

This is a tremendous achievement by all the players, and I emphasise all, as they have all taken part and contributed during the season. I have repeatedely made this point to them and am very proud to be able to say that many of our opposition managers have commented on what a strong team ethic we have.

Our final game is at home to Bowdon this Sunday, 25/7, starting at 9.30 and I know that the boys would love to see as many people as possible, particularly from the senior teams, cheering them on. I would like to invite you all to come along and support this great bunch of lads.

Needless to say I am extremely proud of the achievemnts these lads have made and I cannot wait to see them in action again.

Under 15/13 80 over game

We are having a combined U13/15 80 over game (40 overs per side) game on Thursday, 19/8/10 starting at 12am.

All players from both squads are welcome to take part and the teams will not be restircted to 11 a side if necessary.

I will be asking players if they are available and want to take part at training this Friday and will then organise this.

I hope this will prove to be a fun but serious game and that you will all benefit from it.

Casuals V U15

the casuals team has issued a challenge to our U15 and this has been accepted.
The game is scheduled for Friday, 6/8 with a 6pm start.
I will be contacting the U15 players to see who is available for this nearer the time. I know that some of you are on holiday and it may be that I will have to call on some of the U13`s.
